[IMPORTANT] Further Tariffs Updates for U.S Region and the Use of VIP Points/Boxes

Dear All Lovelies 😘,
Greetings, and may we kindly share some further updates regarding the latest U.S Tariffs change please?
As of April 8th, the U.S has tripled the tariffs for small packages from China. Starting May 2nd (for the packages that arrive at U.S Port on May 2nd), the packages will be subject to 90 percent of the value or $75 per postal item. Starting June 1st, the packages will be subject to 90 percent of the value or $150 per postal item.
As a result, we would be forced to incorporate price increases for all of our products (potentially reflecting the increased tariff as part of the shipping cost for the U.S region for easier implementation technically) in reflection of the proposed tariff increase starting around April 15~20th (the exact date to be determined). The price increase amount/percentage is not determined yet, due to the frequent changes of the tariff rate and such increase will be dependent on the tariff rate then. We might also have to change the VIP points and boxes redemption rules to reflect such tariff impact.
At the current moment, there is no change in effect yet.
If there are any products you lovelies are interested in getting, we strongly recommend doing so before the price increase.
Also, we strongly recommend all our valuable VIP customers to redeem their VIP points and VIP boxes before the tariff impact and price increase to take advantage of the much better pricing at the current moment.
Our team is working keenly on exploring other options, including launching our new warehouse in the U.S. or region with a lower tariff rate, but these would take efforts and time and we'll share further updates as we progress.

I love Lumi so much and I feel so badly for the US clients🩷❤️ Keeping positive thoughts that this will all be resolved very soon. I am a bit confused as I am in Canada (or other clients outside the US). Since we are excluded from tariffs being applied, may I kindly request information about how Lumi will handle us, for example will Lumi be putting a system in place to be sure we are excluded? I am assuming the extra fees are applied at the shipping/check-out, however confirmation would be extremely helpful for planning purchases. My apologies as I cannot seem to find any updates. Thank you kindly in advance for the clarification, and my apologies once again to the Americans 🩷❤️ Lumi means so much to so many of us 🩷❤️
